Here's what you were going for: *"Neither protesting genocide, nor cops attacking those protesting genocide, is funny."* Still awkward, but it's mostly because "neither, nor" is somewhat uncommon in written form. Common practice is to convert whatever you're saying to "and, or" for ease. For emphasis on a negative tone though, "neither, nor" is cool!

Bernie Sanders is an Independent that caucuses with Democrats. Homelessness in America is mostly driven by drug abuse, which comes from injuries. Workplace injuries, especially. Opioid addiction leads to hard drugs. Then there is this new, recent track of homelessness driven by inflation via rent. It's too expensive to stay housed, so now families are ending up on the street. ...but yeah. Law enforcement. Funny stuff. Homelessness too, LOL.
